I've just started using Prefundia to get a bit of hype brewing before I launch my kickstarter http://prefundia.com/projects/view/the- ... nter/1786/ a few tweets have got me over 100 views in a few days. Still putting the finishing touches on the project.

A bit nervous because I've never done anything like this before but I'm going to dive right in! Hope to get some feedback/support.

I haven't done the video yet I'm wanting to save that for the actual Kickstarter.

We just signed our kickerstarter up with them and I am hoping it will create some traffic! But we are very new to this whole experience. Please keep us updated on your success from it.

I wouldn't bank too much on it. In our case, we tried Prefundia. Got somewhere under 250 views, and 5 subscribers. It wasn't amazing, but it was something. Then again, our project isn't doing very well at the moment... so I'm not sure if our experience is very accurate. But from what I see, it's a smaller site than Kickstarter, and there's not a lot of traffic going through it. In hindsight, I would have promoted more heavily on social media and among friends rather than Prefundia. I think what we should have done was told all our friends, and the minute we launched, convinced/coerced friends to also help share our project and generate an initial interest.

I currently have an on going Prefundia soft-launch, although our conversion rate isn't really exponential. We launched during the end of April; currently have 1672 page views and 31 subscribers; our conversion rate is measly 1.9% unfortunately. I've noticed that Prefundia alone didn't provide us with as many backers we initially hoped for. Prefundia provided us with at least 5 subscribers via website traffic and the rest of the subscribers came through our constant marketing and promotions. We also invested a $100 on Prefundias press release package, but only received 1 response from the 117 bloggers proposed too. Unfortunately, there's just not enough traffic on the website to solely rely on for subscribers/consumers. If you guys were curious, here's the link to our Prefundia which is set to launch early next month: http://prefundia.com/projects/view/alex ... -dashboard :)

Just a quick update... Day 15 and 417 views and 6 followers. Again we paid to be a featured listing but haven't done the press release or any other services offered... yet.

As a comparison, we have a LaunchRock page that's been up for about a week and have 15 signups. What's nice about LaunchRock is you get the actual email address of the sign-up so you can communicate with them directly.

Below are links to our Prefundia and LaunchRock pages:

@Swoosh Lens Case

I am thinking of paying to get featured as well, but I am not sure it has a good ROI, how many followers did it bring you so far?

Without getting featured, and only with one fb post, and tweet I got 85 views on my campaign

Hi Chaslav,

At this point I really can't say if it's a good ROI as I haven't launched my campaign yet. It's been 3 weeks and currently I have 547 views and 8 followers.

If you haven't already done so, you should also post on PitchFuse (www.pitchfuse.com) and set-up a LaunchRock landing page. Links to mine are below.

Hi Swoosh,

I used pitchfuse.com http://www.pitchfuse.com/project/buying ... o-yard/363

What I like about them is that they retweeted my tweet, which led to 2 new followers on twitter, and a few days later, they tweeted about my campaign again which led to another follower. So I have no followers on pitchfuse and 3 new followers on twitter, and they may donate when I launch. Prefundia just favoured my tweet.

I have an upcoming campaign and went to Prefundia before launching. I purchased the newsletter advertisement. Since it went out on Wednesday night (two days ago) I received 193 page views and 17 followers. Based on the others I have read here it seems like a very good ROI (8.9%). I am new to this but hopefully I'm off to a good start. I wish I knew how I got this conversion rate but if anyone wants to see the page, here it is: http://prefundia.com/projects/view/the- ... etal/2392/
