It was pretty cool to see your progression up until this moment of launch. I encourage everyone to look through Andy's archives to get an idea of what it's really like to prepare for a Kickstarter and then show your support by backing his campaign!

'A Round Tuit'

A breathless 48 hours - 24 hours of motivation and press work and 24 hours since the launch.

We are at 4%, which is okay, but not great - and 106 shares which is okay - but I get the feel that we have too much social media activity and not enough pledging - which is bad!

My feel is that our core contacts just need to get 'around too it' - so I am hassling them now to get a round tuit!

Cheers,

Andy

Andy,

Just thought that I would chime in, and share some recent thoughts with you.

Not sure if you have the Crowdlogs link for your project or not, but here it is, in case you don't:

http://crowdlogs.com/project/working-title

The crowdlogs data is a little dated, currently listing your project at 17 backers pledging a total of 623 pounds. Your Kickstarter project page shows your project to currently have 29 backers pledging a total of 1,005 pounds

Here's something about the Crowdlogs data, though. Of that figure, 72% of the pledges at that point were for 50 pounds or more. That signifies a certain degree of strength of support.

On your Kickstarter project page, your project is currently listed at 133 shares. That aspect of your data isn't a bad start. I would encourage you to keep doing frequent updates. So far, your Comments section has only a single comment, and it is from this forum's very own admin, Salvador Briggman. The Updates and Comments numbers are not meaningless, Andy. I see so many Kickstarter campaigns basically treat those numbers with disregard. Personally, i think that the higher those numbers are, the better off your campaign will be.

KIcktraq lists your project as a 29 day project. I think that you may end up leaving a lot of cash on the table, as your footwork ahead of time will bear fruit beyond that time, if allowed to thrive. But, that's merely a comment in passing, since you can't change that at this point.

The Kicktraq data is current for your project, as I look at it, right now. Your project needs an average of 482 pounds per day to succeed, at this point. I really think that the numbers-to-date at this early juncture in time are not good indicators of where your funding will end up at. The bulk of your core crowd hasn't made its impact, yet.
