    I can only add that it is a total ripoff to ask for an upfront fee of such amount. Let alone the percentage due to be paid if campaign is success.

    If you're good with what you do and you're in the business of hepling people turn dreams into reality, let your work speak for you. There is no free lunch in this world but 30% equals a shot to the head in regards to project development.

    @Sane, If you are not building a business with 60 % plus margins you are not building a business for the future. In order to scale a business you need to have margin. It is absurd that creators still think that by merely bringing a good idea to a Kickstarter or Indiegogo platform the crowd will see the project and jump behind it. If you are not factoring in bringing at least 1/3 of your funding goal before launch you are setting yourself up for failure. In order to get a product into Walmart, Costco, etc they will take more than 60 points on most items. The biggest failure entrepreneurs make is to design a terrific product and forget to set aside 30% or more for marketing. Sales is the lifeblood of any business. If you don't have buyers, you don't have a business. Watch a few episodes of Shark Tank if you don't believe me. Katherine Krug paid Funded Today 30% and still took home over 800 k on her first BetterBack campaign. If you know business, you build a product with healthy margin.

    @lowkey,

    It surprises me you haven't been kicked off of this forum as you try to bully and demean every agency in the industry. First FT then Backer Camp. Why don't you post a KS dashboard of all of the money you have raised campaigns. It's one thing to tell everyone to not use an agency and to use you for marketing, but so far I have seen nothing to back up your claims that you can save clients money and get good results. Until you post a KS dashboard with stats I will continue to view you as a grumpy troll. I would suggest other users to do the same.

    it surprises me that you still trying to make a comeback even after your MAGICAL CLAIMS.

    bully? man. I am one of those passerby who wonder how you do it in the first place. A giant with super salesperson like you would most probably look at me as some kid, or maybe, a grumpy troll but heck nothing of it matters because when people come and try to reason with you, and you feed them with false claims, caught right handed, we dont agree with you, so you use the victim card by calling me a bully. wew.

    post KS dashboard of all of the money I raised for campaign? and then what? so you can brag you have the bigger numbers? we run on different module for god sake. you spent your own money for ads, AFTER you use the clients upfront payment to fund their own ads for you to figure if you can make sales later when you start using your own money. So at the end of the day, you spent and spent and spent and gain sales.

    I dont. I help them to be visible as they wanted, help them to improve the ads, and by figuring out the investment required to do marketing and get sales in return, if its higher than 30%, and they dont have the funds needed to continue, I even suggested them to go for FT and treat you guys as loan sharks which will eat your 30% BUT help with your marketing. So I actually lead them to take advantage of you. OF COURSE, I will only advise them to do so after they revise their price point so they can steadily increase the margin and earn the money needed after they lose 30% to you.

    But I guess you dont know that right? you just want to fight about numbers because you know you have bigger sticks than me. at least your boss is, not you.

    P/S : See how TheGadgetFlow handle customers feedback and complaints. Maybe you can learn a thing or two. Hihi grumpy troll omg you are the best man! Love it! The company credibility went wayyyy down because of you!

    I've recently had a bad experience with these guys as well.

    Is jsmizzal14 the FT sales guy named Jordan? I think his brother owns Funded Today, so that explains a lot of his comments here.

    Funded Today provides market validation. The 7 day due diligence test is not a guarantee at all, but a validation whether a market exists for your product. Generally products that do not pass our 7 day validation period are executing one of the 7 P's wrong. See here: http://www.Funded.Today/blog/

    There comes a point where you as a creator must address the issues disrupting your own success.

    Just as a casual observer to this thread, do you work for FT or just know them as I thought you worked in construction in Utah?

    Your replies are coming across as quite harsh which can't be great for their publicity, as it feels you're representing them.

    These are paying FT customers, they have a right to comment and have their own expectations on the service they paid for.
