My experience so far has been great. Nobody has backed out, everything is easy to use, and I like Kickstarter's stats that they provide. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is their mobile platform. The Kickstarter app is meh, and their mobile site is pretty wonky sometimes. Besides that, I have no real issues.

Positive! Our campaign http://kck.st/2e4tb2z has successfully reached its goal of $250,000 within 9 hours, which was really unexpected :)

And now, we have reached more than 200% of our funding goal (at $511,764 by 4,059 backers as I'm writing this message). I will share our tricks and strategies on a more relevant thread :)

    Hi there !

Its been an adventure that is for sure, a lot of learning strategy have been learned and wish they would have been applied earlier on.

I would say the largest frustration is people being responsive to the created project on social media but not following through with any pledges... not even just supportive pledges. That being said I would love to hear how other people on crowdfunding sites go about making their social media advertising reach actually engage with the project itself if they are genuinely commenting and appreciating it??

    Hi! This is Mel!

I just launch my 1st Kickstarter project yesterday. So far... it's not very positive.

But one thing for sure, is that I have learn A LOT! Creating a video, learning photoshop, illustrator, online marketing, website creation, and the list goes on. I am so excited to learn so many new things. Though I feel the pressure of the live campaign now, I am glad I have open my eyes to learn many new things!

I am trying very hard to do online ads and I am not too sure if all the popular platforms that we all are familiar with really work after all. Perhaps the issue could be how I deliver my Kickstarter project. Perhaps if you guys can have a look and give me your feedbacks? - http://kck.st/2gf8yni

    Appreciate it a lot!

    Hi there,

I am absolutely in the same boat as you! I am constantly posting on my social media accounts and I get over 100 likes and 20-40 comments on each post but so far I only got one pledge from Kickstarter. It truly is frustrating. Our first week went really well but for the past 2-3 days our graph is starting to flat line and at this point really don't know what else to do. We are also running facebook ads but its not really working for us either. =(

    Hey Everyone,

I'm Lydia and today is Day 1 of the EduCase project so you can all imagine how nerve-racking this days has been so far! We already have a few backers which is great but we only started with a small audience of our own so we're anxious to see how that pans out and how many total strangers will identify with our vision and decide to pledge!

Right, time to caffeine up and check on the stats - we registered with KickTraq and they listed us on their Day-1 Projects which was awesome.

Will keep you guys posted of any up's and down's.

Feel free to check out EduCase and why we decided it was a good idea bring to Kickstarter:

Any thoughts on it particularly encouraged.

    Thanks,

    Hello everyone !

My project on Kickstarter is online, and we have 26 days left for reach our goal. So far we do not have visitors yet...really frustating !

Here the link of my project if you want to take a look at my campaign to understand what at I am saying below :

    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/go ... al-gilders

Have you learned any new skills (marketing/social media)?
    - A lot ! I was not exepected that when you start a kickstarter project you must do social marketing, web marketing, press marketing ect...It's really intense !

Have you gotten any backers you don't know?
    - a few.

    What has been frustrating?
    - I was thinking that a nice project with a nice main pictures could simply get a click to get visits...but apparentely it does not ! What is frustrating is that the Kickstarter Project did not work if you don't have already a large audience with you social tools...and we don't because we was not Social media geekers !

How did you motivate yourself daily?
    - With a coffee ! We don't need motivation, we do not want a succeful kickstarter project a all cost, but we want to give it a change to succeed and for the moment I do not have visitors on my page...so this is my motivation : have visitors on my page !

Are you planning on starting a business if your Kickstarter goes well?
Even if my kickstarter does not work !

What tools or websites do you recommend (others than this one haha)?
-Kicktracker seems to be nice tool.
I work with Crowdster for my press release but for the moment I cannot tell if it is working because it is too soon.

I wish the best of luck to all the community here ! Bye
