I just launched a kickstarter for a children’s book I wrote. I did a lot of research before launching to see what made or broke previous kickstarter projects that were similar to mine. I have a video, great content (I think). I even have something to offer that other children’s books on kickstarter didn’t (an animation). I worked so hard on my kickstarter page... Yet I haven’t been able to build up enough traction in my first two days, and I heard the first day is the biggest and most important. Could somebody look at my kickstarter and give their honest opinion on what could be improved? Because I have to be doing something wrong here): ... cture-book

The first one I did, for a Comic book and a year ago went well.
We asked for little money, we didn't have much time to really push it, and I,m happy with the results and overall, the service.
We just launched another campaign vor our video game, and so far it's alright. I mean, we'll see the results at the end of it, but so far I'm happy with Kickstarter.

We launched 4 days ago and got 6% so far but nothing in the past 24 hours.

We have launched the MiSun range of solar lights, they are the thinnest and most functional/feature-rich solar lights on the market ... ble-future

We have been bombarded by so many dodgy people asking for boosts and backers.

The top end agencies want 30-35% commission and our pricing is such that we are only making 50% on the price, so we will end up around 7-8% after KS fees are taken out with leaves the project in a bad situation from a contingency point of view. We have had to rely on a few friends to help promote but i think it is very difficult to run an effective campaign with these limited resources.
