How did you hear about Kickstarter or Crowdfunding?

by RobQTran » Tue Jul 04, 2017 9:10 am

First heard about Kickstarter when I went to a party and found out about "Exploding Kittens".

Since then, I've pretty much supported a few more projects and finally got around to getting my own book project and running! It's definitely been a huge learning experience to say the least!
My campaign is up! Please take a look and consider supporting or sharing! ~Cheers :)

Somehow came across it when pepsi rewards became a thing. I think it was an ad. Since then i've helped crowdfund just over 30 cool projects. It's definitely a great platform to use.

I've about crowdfunding for the first probably when I was watching news in TV where they've mentioned some young guys who raised relatively lot of money to develop some tech stuff on some crowdfunding website, they were also talking about crowdfunding itself, lot of people still don't know about it

Hi everyone new to Kickstarter. I've been very ill mentally and physically over the last few years having a horrendous time trying to find an income.

It was actually through stay here at the QCH mental health facility that I learned of Kickstarter. I have always been an avid reader, writer and artist in many ways but have never heard of crowdsourcefundraising or Kickstarter sights until recently.

Today I start my journey to better mental health and wellness, and I'm hoping the support of crowdource friends that I'll be able to come up with the necessary funding to survive and complete my project. Please learn more about my story on my Kickstarter page!

I only really started looking at Kickstarter when I began working on a research project to do with crowdfunding. The first time I went to have a look on the website though I was distracted for hours with all the exciting projects!

I heard about Kickstarter 6 years ago at university - we used it to fund our projects.

It's brilliant.

A friend of mine told me about it. I was shown some examples and I read up on it. It still took two friends to convince me and show how great crowdfunding can be for creative people and backers.

The first time I heard about Kickstarter is from my colleague, he is responsible for a crowdfunding project in Kickstarter, he asked me whether I can give him any advises about the promotion about the project. So i go to the Internet to search information about Kickstarter, and then I know that, and I have also known Indiegogo at the same time. lol
