Hi Colin,

Great Tips! Thank you. These have really re-ignited a flat spell of energy i was going through. After reading your post I started looking for other campaigns to back and have started backing them and sharing and it feels really exciting. Your right. There are lots of incredible projects being created and giving back is a very inspiring positive place to be coming from.

this is my project, I'm really proud of it. It's going slow and steady.

Less Panic and Sales and more Pleasure and Sharing is my new mantra.

What an inspiring post! We cancelled our first campaign after gaining a lot of feedback from backers about what we could have done better and we came back stronger having listened to them. So your post really speaks to me and I will actually apply it during this campaign. This is the link to our campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/40 ... reator_nav

It is a board game so it's different than yours but all your advice will work for ours too I think.

Thanks for taking the time to write it, and I'm sorry I missed your campaign!!

I really appreciate this post. I just launched my first project and have been waiting for the momentum to start. I like your points, especially about thinking about others needs.

Great post. I like the positive approach and inward reflection. I think I needed that right now!

Thank you for sharing this! We are entering day 9 of our campaign, it's been slow and I'm getting a bit worried. I'll definitely try your tips! We reached 50%, slowly, but now we still need the other half. :)

Wow Colin,

That was really inspiring. Granted, my kickstarter project isn't as aspirational as yours, but I can completely relate to you right now. I have 6 days left and I haven't even hit the 50% mark. But I did start pledging to a couple of people to support them with what I can. I'm not sure if I can apply all of your advice and experience onto my own project, but I'm definitely taking some pointers!

P.S. Here is my kickstarter campaign if you're interested:

I want to start this response off by saying thank you. I had never really thought about running a campaign in that method. I am only a few days into my campaign but because of the knowledge you have provided, I can start to implement that sooner rather later.

I have so many more questions to ask you however, I am new to this site so I am not really sure the best method to ask these questions.

I also would like to share with you my campaign. You can view the link (which will be provided below) and see how our glasses can make such a big difference in the life of others. I also am extremely open to feedback as well as suggestions on what you believe I could improve on!

The link to the campaign can be found at:

Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing from you.

Have a great day,
Nick

Very good presentations, but you need to improve on the price point tho. Like, seriously.
