How to Grow a Email List of Kickstarter Backers

Tips to help you plan and run a successful campaign.

by Cristina » Mon May 15, 2017 9:48 am

You’ve heard it time and time again… email is KING!

There are a lot of ways to convert passive browsers into active Kickstarter campaign backers.

Email marketing is in the top three when it comes to profitability.

On this training video, I’m going to share how the best marketers grow their email lists, and how you can do the same.

If you enjoyed the video, can you take a sec to subscribe to my YouTube channel?

When you hit subscribe, you’ll get an email notification when I come out with new videos.

Obviously, you don’t have to watch every one, but I gotta admit, many of them are VERY helpful.

I have also put together a FREE training course that’s meant to take you more in-depth with some of the topics that I talk about on this blog and my YouTube channel.

Hi Christina. Saw your video and you are spot on. Emails can make or break your campaign. I have put a lot of energy into collecting backer emails for my own campaign lately. To date, I have 200,000 backer emails. Shoot me an email to morebackers@gmail.com if you would like to have a copy of my database. I'm also happy to share with out passionate crowdfunders.

Thanks for the advice! we're coming in with a strong email list from the industry we're established in, as well as some grassroots work we've been putting in for the last couple of months. Is it best to prep your email audience before the launch, or just touch them on day one of the campaign and then again midway through (we're a little concerned about burning the list out with too many emails)?

I agree. Email lists are essential. What do you guys think about buying emails like the lists offered by Krowdster, and other PR companies?

The data offered by Krowdster is not very helpful because it does not include email addresses. You are buying a list of names and facebook profile links... Not very useful.

PM me if you are looking for some higher quality list data and I'll see what I can do to help
