I think this is great advice. We have also found that doing contests through Facebook generates a lot of hype, as well as a pretty substantial e-mail list. For the Mindstream Studio
launch we ran a camera giveaway contest on Facebook. This helped a lot finding people that may be in the correct target market for our e-mail lists.
When I was looking at your campaign one of the most interesting things I saw was your referral program. We have never tried something like that, and it seems like a great idea. How successful was this referral program in getting shares and backers for you guys? This is something we would love to try in the future with some of our bigger campaigns. How difficult is this to set up? We have several programmers and web developers on our team, (I am not one of them) would they know what to do if they saw your referral page?
