Robin and the Red Rug - A Picture Book

    by 40cooper » Wed May 01, 2013 8:49 pm

Hello all. I'm hoping to get some advice on how to promote my project and any room for improvement there may be. The project is for a children's book I wrote called Robin and the Red Rug. This is a rhyming, educational picture book series, completely written and ready to go. Check out my page here:

    Thanks!

    Hey Jason,

Think the video needs voice narration to make it more compelling. I like to back people, not projects, so I want to have a more tangible sense of who you are and why you are passionate about the project.

Where have most of your pledges been coming from up until this point?

Hey Sal. Thanks for the feedback. I definitely agree with your opinion on the video. I really wanted to include my daughter reading from the book, but she was a little too shy when it came time and I'm way too shy to do that. I have a bit of social anxiety, so those things are difficult to me. That's why I tried to make as creative of a video as I could, since I knew I wouldn't have that personal element as much. The pledges, so far, have been a bit of a mix. A few friends/family and a few generous people whom I don't know personally. The project is behind the desired pace, to say the least. Thanks for your time.
