I'm brand new to this forum and I'm just a couple of days to launch my first Kickstarter campaign which goes to fund a project that will help make 100 ultra low budget films in Kenya. I'm a little apprehensive since it seems like Kickstarter is more geared towards commercial ventures. But I'm giving it a shot nonetheless.

I've been living in Kenya since I was 19 and have been involved in media training since 2002. So this project is less of a 'gamble' than it is something that I know will have an immediate positive impact.

I'll share the project once it goes live and I hope to get everyone's feedback.
