One complaint I've heard about IndieGoGo is that it doesn't really have a standing user base of CrowdFunders like Kickstarter has and, in terms of my campaign, that definitely seems to be the case. We don't have a single funder that was not send by either a campaign I'm running elsewhere or my own site or social pushes. IndieGoGo hasn't provided a single funder of their own yet.

For me and my team Indiegogo was the only option a the start of our planning phase. Kickstarter was released in my country just a weak before we started our campaign so we stayed on Indigogo. So yeah Indigogo was better at this time. We will see about that when the new Indiegogo simplified fees start.

We are getting great feedback and we are getting up there with the budget for our awesome new project!

Kickstarter > Indeigogo. Indiegogo has more fees for non-U.S. campaigns. I got jilted 25% just for being in Canada. But, then again, it doesn't matter because they have yet to send me anything at all. They insist they paid me the funds I raised while I've checked my account and nothing has come through in about a month. Never going with Indiegogo.

I tried both Kickstarter and Indiegogo.
from my personal experience I think Kickstarter is easier to navigate and user friendly, for a creator is easy to check and put note for your backers. But they really strict with the campaign that get reported. They will Kick out every campaign that sound fishy without second thought no matter how much they make already.

Indiegogo is more flexible, anybody can use this platform to fund raise anything. But from creator point of view I think it is so hard to navigate and there is no button to change your contribution for your backers. Good luck if you have special promotion on your campaign because Indiegogo will not facilitate any place to put a note for each of your contributors.

IGG is way more flexible and they have a campaign team to help, definitely gives you a good understanding of what you need before going into it.

IGG is great because of the reps that help you pre-launch and throughout the campaign! Much more personable than Kickstarter!
