Hi Guys!

I'm Brian, 23 years old living in France! I was just wondering why some people are pledging then cancelling their pledge some hours later? Is it normal or usual?

Pretty weird as they have to enter their card details and so on...not sure why they would do it.

So I actually did write to two of them asking them if it was something in the campaign or our updates that pissed them off. (Because being a first-time creator, I couldn't stop thinking about it). I really wanted to know why so I could address it. One of the backers replied saying it was purely a cash flow problem. I was really touched to see people like her who are ready to put down money for our dreams even when they don't have much. I offered her an alternative. She actually came back and pledged at a higher amount

So don't worry about it.

We've had both ends of the spectrum. We've had the ones that back and then cancel at the last minute. Or, we've had the ones cancel then all of a sudden come in and back for a high rewards. The annoying part of this is the numbers go up and down. This campaign is really tight for us right now. Just hard getting traction.

I didn't realize backers could cancel once they pledged.
