You should of used us instead as $2k is alot! I thought it was pretty clear on this forum post that Backershub doesn't work.

Reactivate your Paypal complaint and let us know how you get on.

ThebigV wrote:BEWARE OF BACKERSHUB. Dwight Peters from Backershub is a complete scam artist. I've sent him $2,000 for 2 x Youtube blogger reviews and 4 x email outs. He's run off with my money and has not replied to emails or answered phone calls in 6 months. He only bothered to email me when I opened a PayPal dispute against him and I was nice enough to cancel it after listening to his con artist excuse for not performing his services.

    TOTAL SCAM- BEWARE.

    I'm a serial crowdfunder with my 4th campaign: http://www.chargeasap.com/adapter
I also have a direct relationship with Indiegogo and have met the team and their head office.

I've regularly use the major crowd funding marketing services and can verify these 3 are legitimate:
http://thegadgetflow.com- Evan is a great co-founder, though this service is costly and recommended only for campaigns aiming for $100k+
backerclub.co- Mark is a great co-founder <-- this has been the highest ROI out of the services I've used
    http://www.backerland.com/- David is a great co-founder

I'd be happy to provide more information on this scam artist or other services I've used, if you want to contact me on: vinson@chargeasap.com

No need to try to spread false information to boost your company HyperStarter - if anybody took the time to go through this forum, they would see a mixture of reviews.

As we have stated hundreds of times, different campaigns bring different results. It's not rocket science - we've built a community of over 20,000 Backers with a variety of interest in campaigns. This community was not built for any 1 specific project, however it was built to bring awareness to awesome campaigns, promote exclusive deals and give our members an opportunity to share their experience.

There are a lot of competitors that feel intimidated by what we are doing for some reason and would like to see us out of the market for some reason, however we are not going anywhere. We have been around for the past 4 years and will continue provide creators with an opportunity to reach our members.

As everybody can see, Vinson (The Big V) removed the post as his complaint was a misunderstand and it was resolved. We did not scam him out of his money, he was refunded - with Vinson, we tried to implement a new strategy and unfortunately it did not work out. No harm, no foul. This is marketing - not everything strategy is going to work.

To any creator that is reading this forum and trying to judge whether your project will be successful with us or not - please take the following into consideration.

    Our list is 85% male
Over 90% from the continental USA
    Over 20,000 subscribed
Private Facebook Group with over 8,000

We send a daily newsletter Monday - Saturday.

To all of the creators that have shared their positive experience with the forum - we take you for allowing us to assist.

To the creators that did not experience any, or low, conversions - we thank you as well for allowing us to assist - unfortunately our community either:

    • Already backed your project.
    • Wasn't interested.

Vinson, if you read this - thank you for removing the post. You offered to edit it and I requested to just delete it as we were able to fix the situation behind the scene.

BackersHub is a very small team of very passionate entrepreneurs looking to help creators reach their goal.

We charge an extremely affordable rate for our service because we believe in helping creators - trust me, we are not getting rich off of what we do.

A lot of comments here are from people that have never used our service, have no clue what we do and are leaving their opinion instead of reaching out to us and seeing if they would be a great fit for our community.

Competitors have been trolling us on forums as well, and that is unfortunate as we would never stoop that low.

At BackersHub, we focus on newsletter marketing - this is an effective way of marketing, however ask yourself - when was the last time you purchased something from an email? Exactly... probably never. We have created a newsletter list where people actually buy stuff. Sometimes 1 push is not enough - we try to set the right expectation with creators, sometimes it will take more then 1 push to see conversion.

If you are a creator and are on the fence about whether we would be a great fit for you - give us a call (skype: BackersHub) or shoot us an email (Dwight@BackersHub.com).

I will continue to defend BackersHub on public forums, because we stand behind what we do. We are an ethical company, if a refund is warranted - we have no problem granting it. However, we focus on making all of our clients happy - due to the nature of the business 100% is not realistic - but we try anyway.

    Thanks for reading -

    Cheers,

    Dwight from BackersHub

    DO NOT USE!

100% a SCAM, I wasted several hundred dollars as I read good reviews elsewhere about using the BackerHub service. I can only assume now that these were fake reviews or comments created by 'Dwight' to fool people like me.

After spending hundreds of dollars to get boosted to a select list of super backers I expected some decent results. After I paid Dwight only two orders came in from the tracking url I gave him. When I asked him when I could expect more orders from his list he never replied.

I emailed him three times through out my campaign to see when he would start to deliver the promised results and he still to this day has never replied. He will take you money and run.

This is 100% a scam, do not trust this guy. It is literally his job to troll the internet and scam honest creators.
