Discuss Projects You've Backed

What's the most interesting project you've backed?

What projects have you backed on Kickstarter that we should know about?

I backed CST watch, one of the coolest e-ink watch. I backed 2 units and they went belly-up. I read the story about the founders and it taught me how difficult it is to invent, design, prototype, crowdfund and manufacture real, physical products.

Hi everyone,

These projects all sound great. I am really interested in how people decide which projects to back on Kickstarter, given there are so many to chose from! I am currently conducting some research about this and would love to hear from you. We're running some online focus groups (just a text-based group chat), and looking for people who fund projects run by people they do not know personally. If you're interested in shared your experiences and opinions, please visit this sign-up page for more information and to take part:

Everyone who takes part will receive a £10 Amazon voucher (can only be used on UK Amazon I'm afraid!).

I came across a games project that launched today called Kitten Casualty. I thought hey I like kittens so had looked and crack up at the video jeezzz, It's out there hahahah that's for sure I backed them after that. The kitten cartoons are awesome drawings and the game concept sounds intense.
I have a wife and 2 kids so a family game I'm sure.

have a look guys its out there thats for sure ahahah. ... =discovery

I usually back niche things that make life easier, or allow me to be lazier. However, if something really innovative or cool pops up i jump at it. Much like the sliding wallet that has done so well.

Hi- I just backed this project a few days ago that makes designer clothing with fabric from recycled bottles! ... ed-bottles

I pledged and shared on social media to help them reach their goal within a few days of the last day. They met their goal. I found them through a search- they are local to me in Pittsburgh and I also believe in eco-friendly solutions like this. :D
