How did you hear about Kickstarter or Crowdfunding?

by vregina » Fri Aug 18, 2017 10:22 pm

I first heard about kickstarter years ago from other comic book artist. My husband (he's the author) has backed many project there. We have used kickstarter to crowdfund 3 of his books and now we're 5 days into the fourth book. This book is the final in the trilogy. My husband is a comic book author/artist. In the past I wasn't too involved in the process, but now I am his helper in coloring pages and marketing his product. ... ion-boxset

A friend brought over Super Dungeon Explore and I then backed the Forgotten King re-launch on Kickstarter. Ever since then I have been hooked! Love Kickstarter!

Now when I think of it I can't even recall when I first heard about crowdfunding. And I'm sure it hasn't been a whole lot of time since... Maybe I have a bad memory?

I first heard about Kickstarter/Crowdfunding when I read an article about the different ways to get your company funded. This was before I even had an idea to turn into a company.
A few of my fews launched some successful Kickstarter campaigns and recommended it to me once I started to funds to take my Start Up to the next level

I love creative products, so I subscribed quite a few Facebook pages introducing new gadgets. I just wonder why these pages can gather such a lot of great ideas, so I started to copy the product names and Google them. That's how I found Kickstarter:) It's a very good platform for product designers to share their new ideas, and now I become one of them! So amazing!!
