The reps that reached out to us to convince us to go with IGG instead of Kickstarter stuck with us from pre-launch and all throughout our campaign. We're halfway through our campaign and 133% funded, yet they still help out!

I chose indiegogo, because it's only option for me. I live in eastern europe, and other sites, don't work in my country.

I think overall people see IGG as guaranteed funds if you meet your goal or not.

Whilst with Kickstarter, it's more of a gamble but since it's more popular that IGG then you have the potential to raise more money :)

I live in Canada and I used IGG because I can receive funding in USD which is the currency for manufacturing and calculating all the costs.

I am from Bulgaria and we hardly managed to get settle our campaign from Austria. But at worst scenario we would have done it on Indiegogo. I am just wondering why is KS still applying those country restrictions...

Flexible funding is a popular reason and they also have great support.

I just started to use this crowdfunding site, I heard it's great, and I couldn't register to kickstarters as I am not living in that few countries what was on their list.. so I started indiegogo, hope I will have success

indiegogo just took the backer money, be careful!!

indiegogo just not reply any update, and all massage we send to them no reply. 3 months from the campaign end we cannot get the fund, everyday get backer email asking us what happening, but nothing we can do. none of the backer get refund at all too. we have ask our customer, friends to support to us, but now they lose the money, and we cannot make the product.

we also lose a lot money on the advertising too. pay different company to help us to promote to bring backer, but now we got nothing with a lot of complaint.
