Share Your Best Crowdfunding Tip From Your Experience

Tips to help you plan and run a successful campaign.

We at Rebelz Games are about to start our second Kickstarter project. The first failed due to lack of experience. Now we are about to start our new Kickstarter, which is a boardgame involving pimps, ripdeals, darkrooms etc where you can screw over your friends. This all combined with drinks and assignments which turn regular game nights into legendary ones.

What are the most important factors we should focus on?

We are 2 weeks away from the launch but here is what I learn so far, everone will tell you to email bloggers, do PR etc. but all these bloggers are already drown by crodfunding projects and most of them don't even read when they see a kickstarter word in the email.

So reaching out bloggers doesn't do much. You need to be more creative...

I believe the key to a successful kickstarter campaign is a strong pre-launch!

Needs to have constant engagement with not just people who back the project but also with those who follow your social out reaches. Make sure to make it fun for them so they have something to engage with. Don't make a video that drags, keep it interesting, ask yourself what is truly important to tell your audience.
