    My 3 Tips:

    1. Solid connections with mass-media.
You should create a base not for a hundred, but for a thousand journalists and, in your communication with them, it's important to create multiple points of interest that would lie in several different areas.
    2. SMM is important.
All social media must be “live”, and yet it must have roots, so, if you would like to start a blog for your product, you should start it well before the campaign and then regularly update it with interesting posts that will be valuable to your audience.
    3. Communication with the audience.
If your project presents an opportunity for an open dialogue of developers and customer base, you are bound to success.
You should always seek an opportunity to contact the people that are interested in your project for any reason, whether you have valuable news to share, an advice to give or simply remind them about what you are doing.

We are in the middle of our 3rd kickstarter campaign. The first 2 went great, slow, but we funded. This is the 3rd book in the series and we had a great first day, after the first batch of emails went out. Since then we've been blowing up social media trying to get backers with very little success.
Not sure if we're doing anything wrong on the social media, but we will be sending out a second batch of emails and hopefully the previous backers will come back one more time!

    Video Referral.

Can anyone suggest a good service for creating a KS video?

Plenty of all in one services but I prefer to find a company whose expertise is video production.

    Thanks in advance.

    Crowdfunding Tip -

As we all know that, Kickstarter is one of the best platforms for crowd funding.

If you want more backers on your Kickstarter Campaign, then you should focus on your

The mistake I made is getting too excited about my project on kickstarter by not creating a fan base first. Currently my campaign for a gaming cafe is running with 57 days to go. I am currently working on my fan base as it's running.

MY TIP, BUILD THE FANBASE FIRST BEFORE LAUNCHING PROJECT. IT MAKES IT EASIER IN THE LONG RUN!

I think the best idea would be to make sure you get a large group of following before you launch your project. I did not get a following but I am trying another alternative, which is to get more traffic to my website. I have decided to promote my campaign continuously to get people to attention. It has been 5 days and I have 900+ views but no backers. I hope by next week I get some funds for my project.

CrowdFunding is a lot of madness and most people are negating the ‘method’ to it.
Instead of parting off with $50 at go 1, I would like to know what risks/ obstacles the project is facing. Also, what would they like to do after they get the money… will this be a continuing project OR a 1 time gig?
Basis upon this, I would choose to fund the best team out there!
This is precisely why the world needs CROWD HELPING BEFORE FUNDING: to 1. minimise project risks 2. engage backers to build traction and make them your first paid customers
