Super Backer Club http://www.SuperBackerClub.com has been contacting a TON of Kickstarter and Indiegogo projects inviting them to submit their projects so I wanted to put out this warning. WATCH OUT!

These guys are very dishonest. I've already talked with several project creators who bemoan having ever started a relationship with this site. Read the following snippet of their terms of use from their own website. You'll be SHOCKED!

"Service Fee

The service fee is determined by SuperBacker Club and is non-refundable. SuperBacker club reserve the rights to determine when and under what circumstances to charge the service fee. For project with flexible funding goal, a $99 listing fee will be charged if the project has raised fund but not yet reached its funding goal. If a project is suspended, stopped and cancelled for whatever reason, the service fee would still be applicable. Additionally, the promotion service provided by SBC cannot be interrupted or cancelled due to whatever reason if project creator completed their credit card authorization.

SBC also has right to charge additional service fee as penalty if project creator behind listed projects fail to comply with SBC term of use, fail to fulfill special rewards to SBC members and specifically fail to disclose required information on complete list of backers, including name, email address and other contact information, to SBC in order to identify SBC members and project SBC’s member benefit. Penalty charge starts from $1,000 USD up."

Not only do they warn heavy penalties for not cooperating with their terms of use, but the require you to submit to them your entire list of Kickstarter or Indiegogo backers (complete with name, email address and other contact information" If you don't provide these things for them (which are of course against the crowdfunding platform's terms of use and could risk the suspension of your project) but if you don't comply you face a $1,000 penalty!!! Plus, they list that you cannot cancel their service under any circumstances and they reserve the right to determine when and under what circumstances they charge you their service fee.

If this isn't a SCAM site I've never seen one. Wanted you all to be aware so you wouldn't fall prey to this site. My guess is that they are either trying to collect credit card numbers or they are trying to collect email addresses from Kickstarter and Indiegogo backers to use for some other purpose.

Sounds like they are trying to protect their backers benefits, cuz too many people run away with Kickstarter money. If you don’ t tell them who backs you, how do you make sure you can full fill these special reward????

It sounds like they are trying to get a bunch of people's email addresses. And it sounds like they are trying to charge project creators a bunch of money and threaten them with penalties for raising any questions about their sketchy practices or sites true effectiveness.

Anyone who would post terms of use like this is not someone I would trust with a 10 foot pole. There are so many scam websites out there for crowdfunding services. Sorry, but this just looks like another guy trying to make a quick buck and lacking some serious integrity.

There is no way I would trust a site like this with my email address and definitely NOT my credit card!

You (oops,...I mean they) changed them yesterday and again today. I guess you (oh yes, sorry, they) didn't like people actually reading the fine print that would have required them to violate Kickstarter's policies and risk getting their project suspended and giving Super Backer Club the right to charge them $1,000 penalties for not complying.

Like I said at first...STAY AWAY from this site. It is a shame that there needs to be a whole section here in the Kickstarter Forum for Fraud Watch and scams, but SuperBacker Club is just the sort of reason that there is.

Since launching my project on Indiegogo last week we must have have 40 or 50 emails along these lines. Having scoured these forums for organisations of this ilk actually worth their salt I've found none.

I'm not too sure of how well Kickstarter filters spam though IGG really needs to pull its socks up. This is become a bit of problem. Damn these bottom feeders.
