This is really helpful advice for any crowdfunding campaign. I am new to this, so keen to learn all I can before starting a campaign. I think one of the biggest challenges is to build a following of potential backers that will jump right in at the start. Any advice?

That's right, and if you don't have the inner circle you have to work as much time as it takes to create it before you launch your campaign. Pre launch page is one good way to do it.
