I have backed close to around 10 Kickstarter campaigns and I would say I back them because they appeal to me either emotionally or they generally have a clear purpose. Something that's bigger than just "wanting money" I think is usually key.

Hello everyone, my name is Elisabeth and I am studying for a MSc in Finance. My dissertation examines Business Ethics & Law in Crowdfunding Platforms. Hey guys,

Hope you all take the time out to read my post!

I have finally plucked up the courage to start my own Kickstarter campaign on my product the 'iProtect light'! Below is a link to my Kickstarter campaign;

We invented the iProtect to simply solve a problem! The main feature for me is the (patented) silicon base which allows you to bend / swivel in any way you wish to suit your needs! Great fun for kids!! The wireless device means you can pick up and take to any room you wish. The iProtect is the perfect device for campers / hikers. I found that other wireless light devices didn't have a brightness that stopped me getting headaches and tiredness. With our low 3000k brightness, it is excellent for reading / writing. The device can also reach a massive 5000k which is excellent for outdoor people. Long battery life and easy to charge.

If anyone has the time and to check my campaign out then please do as I would love to hear your advice (good AND bad).

I've backed a handful of projects. More often than not, I back projects that I think are innovative, or those that will benefit someone in need. For example, a local business was flooded out a few years back. I gladly funded their GoFundMe project to get the owners back on their feet.

I've backed one project: Bluebell. It is a great no-touch bike navigation. Still waiting for it to arrive, but can't wait to take it for a spin in Amsterdam!

Watches that has really good design and made with really good quality materials are the ones I love to back.

The current one that I am totally in love right now is from Sanctuary. Really slim- thin watch, Swiss watch, Italian Leather, Sapphire crystal.
