WHAT IS YOUR DAY JOB? WHAT IS YOUR PASSION PROJECT?

    Hi everyone!
My name is Anthony and I am new to this forum. My day job and my passion project are one in the same :) I am a full time entrepreneur that is pursuing my dream of bringing my toy to market. It's called The SLYNG and it is something that I have been doing as a hobby for the last 10 years...performing in front of people, carrying with me to music festivals. Not only is it a light instrument to dance and perform with, but it is also a skill toy (think yo-yo, kendama) The possibilities are really endless, with The SLYNG having the ability to be modified on the fly to create new toys, based off its unique looped design. Kids love the SLYNG, it allows for creativity and we just want to get our product out there in the world to build a community of people who love to explore their creativity and have fun. We are learning more about our product as the days go by.

This product is my passion, but it goes deeper beyond the SLYNG. My passion is encouraging people to pursue their dreams. We hope that our story can inspire someone else in some way. I joked about doing light shows for a living and now its all starting to really come together now. Our campaign is now live, and we just need help sharing our story. Would love to get feedback and answer any questions that you might have! Thank you!

    Hey guys,

I have used Kickstarterforum many times in my previous campains and now I finally registered. So a little bit about myself:

I am fortunate enough that I've started with Skinners as my very first project a year ago. We did our best, got amazing agencies to help us boost the sales and are now at 1,8 Million USD on Kickstarter and Indiegogo InDemand.

My second project has been Benjamin Button and it went pretty well too. With minimum budget (and passionate team), we were able to raise more than twice of our funding goal (52K). But shortly before the end of the campaign we found out that software development costs are significantly higher than we imagined and we would not be able to deliver the product. So we had to cancel that and are currently preparing for relaunch.

Other than that, I am working in 3 different startups, one of them (in medical sector) was just offered a nice Series A investment, so hopefully I will have more funds for future Kickstarter campaigns :)
Campaign creator of Skinners [1,8M raised, 18 000% of goal]
& Benjamin Button [52K raised, 200% of goal, cancelled by creator].

My day job is a mental health counselor at an alternative school with children diagnosed with emotional and behavioral disorders. My passion lies within yoga, and various forms of acrobatics including partner acro, hand balancing and contortion. My goal is to make enough money to open up my own circus/movement arts facility. Please check out my account for more information and feel free to support me in my journey. You are so appreciated.

Hi everyone, I'm new here. :)

At day I'm a college student. My true passion however is film. I spend every spare bit of time studying film and working on my own projects. I always carry a notebook around so I can write between classes and on the bus. I probable spend quite some time I should be sleeping or studying on drawing storyboards and dissecting scenes instead.
If you like horror films in the exploitation and b-movie sub-genre's, or want to support indie film or a student with a dream. Check out my campaign :) https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1544644865/cannibal-inferno

I'm just a student right. I'd love to produce content on a weekly basis for viewers. I think that's an ideal job because I would be creating my own content and wouldn't have a 9-5.

Hi my name is Kevin Mitchell CEO of IoT Gardens, Inc.

What is your day job? Connected Vehicle Certified Ethical Hacker.

What is your passion project? I work on a team of Qualification Engineers for the Electrical Engineer department doing Vehicle Telematics Cyber-security for one of the Big 3 car OEMs. I am lobbying my supervisor to allow me to do Security Audits/Penetration Testing for the Autonomous Vehicle Program.

On the side I have created an Autonomous Cultivation Controller that allows gardeners to water and feed their plants remotely using a mobile app called "Track Your Tree". Live on Kickstarter https://goo.gl/e7UrXw

Luckily, my day job at the moment is also my passion project. We just launched our Kickstarter so that's been keeping me really busy. I like bringing ideas to the world and seeing them taking a life of their own, that's really satisfying to me.
