Hi there,

I know you probably hear frequently this kind of stories, but I think this is the only place where I can find an honest and valid answer.

Friday, 5th of May, I have started my very first Kickstarter campaign. It is called Escuro Bicycle Bag and it's a nice, stylish and practical bike bag (we think ). You can see our project page here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/robertodesimone/escuro-bicycle-bag-stylish-and-functional

We had our Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram, we had the confirmation of several bike shops that our idea is really good and the bags look cool so we were convinced we won't have difficulties with our campaign. But, surprise, our campaign is really slow. We had had 3 backers in almost 3 days. We had about 270 video plays until now. Is that normal? What do you think about this project?

I know the most successful project hires Pr agencies and influencers, but what's the chance that someone who hasn't all this money to spend on promotion to have a funded project? What's your opinion about that?

I think the campaign page looks very professional, congrats.

Perhaps the problem is you should focus it more on being a bag then as an attachment to a bicycle, rather than the other way round - so the campaign page needs a few tweaks.

Next, there's a ton of images and not much text. If you run the url through our site, it'll explain other problems in detail.

The main thing is you launched based on specific interest, but you didn't follow up on that interest. I would of ran a prelaunch campaign, collected emails of people who *really* wanted it (rather than said they'd like it), followed up on the shops that expressed interest and marketed it in other ways.

If you need further advice let me know as I've worked on a couple of overfunded bag campaigns.

Thank you for the advices. I was already checked our campaign page on your site. It actually says "Number of Words: Great! This campaign has the optimum recommended number of words on the page. " Then " Number of Images: The campaign may need more images on the page."

We were more focusing on the visuals than on the text. Is it wrong?

Actually you're not wrong and the Hyperstarter site isn't either. Let me explain - in terms of visuals, you're right - it should stand out. But text is all clumped together at the top and there's alot of info at the bottom in Risks. If you could space out the text, it'll help.

In terms of where you've been featured already, you should be more popular. As mentioned, if you want us involved - let me know.

you simply need traffic and the right audience to visit your project, im guessing at the moment the project is only getting less than 50 people to visit a day?

Yeah I would of loved to of worked on this campaign, it had great potential but looks like there's no traction.

Novelty : 4/10

Its hard to decide if its a good or bad project. Because you can still sell shits with good presentations but doesnt mean it solve anything. In your case, I think you should've prepared your own community before you launched your campaign. Ask Hyperstarter. He might think you already know this but you dont, so you should learn. I can’t tell right now how good it is, but if my budged will permit to purchase one will gladly do so and after some time will leave a feedback. I like gadgets and plenty of other things that are useful and present with me all the time. Want to purchase a new bag for my gadgets, as I daily ride my bicycle to work and back home. One week ago received from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Vont-Rechargeabl ... B078TB9TMK new illumination accessory and driving home after work is more safely and the fad that I feel that confidence it makes every penny worthy of it, amazing acquisition.
