The most interesting project I backed was the Lix pen. It was a 3D printing pen where you could create anything in mid air just by drawing with the pen. It was a really cool project to back, but unfortunately there was some delays and they are now just starting to ship them to backers. Here is the link to their website: http://lixpen.com

Just backed my third campaign. Sounds like its just up my street as I'm a fan of both Lego and Star Wars.

I looked at your Kickstarter. What a great product - I remember the first time I traveled after taking language classes in high school and college - I was ill-prepared. It helped some but certainly didn't make me feel confident. On top of that, I was lugging around a paper dictionary because we didn't have smartphones. Good luck!

There's a lot of design out there that are just copies of the same thing. When I see genuine design, I see the designer's heart in the work, and that's the type of creativity kickstarter is meant to encourage. New design takes a lot of effort, a lot more than you would expect--I know as a designer myself.
