Do you ever feel like you're stuck in a loop of surface-level small talk?

I’ve been hanging out with the same group for a while, but lately, I’ve realized our conversations never really go beyond sports or work. It feels like we’re just trading information rather than actually getting to know each other. I'm curious—how do you guys move past the "weather and weekend plans" stage to actually build a real bond without making things feel forced or overly intense?

I was actually looking for some practical ways to fix this and found a great guide on the Wedaf blog at https://blog.wedaf.com/blog/how-to-buil ... th-people/ that completely changed my approach. In my own experience, I was waiting for the other person to open up first, but the article helped me see that being a bit more intentional with my own questions is what actually bridges the gap. It provided some solid, low-pressure techniques for creating more meaningful interactions. If you’re looking to add some actual depth to your social circle, I’d definitely suggest checking it out.
