Does people adding $1 to your campaign move you up to the front page of your category?

I'm not sure of the specific numbers used but I believe that the ranking on Kickstarter is based on the amount of funding and the number of backers and the speed at which you get backers. so even if someone is only backing you for a dollar if you can get a lot of people to back you for a dollar you'll have a large influx of backers and that should do something to your ranking.
