Right now I'm working on the Classic Defender 90:

I also have a bunch of other big ones built:

Then I have some smaller ones too, along with a couple sets waiting to be built (like the 007 Aston Martin, another decent sized set).
The problem is that the boxes take up a lot of space, especially for the larger sets.
I have some in a huge tub in the garage and some others in a closet.
They're not really taking up meaningful space or in the way, but I also don't know how much it makes sense to keep them. However, with a little one on the way, I've been going through and purging a lot of stuff and reorganizing a bunch of stuff in our home.
I'm thinking about throwing all the manuals and extra pieces in a small tub and only keeping those, but I'm reluctant to ditch the boxes.
I'm open to any arguments for and against keeping them!
As a bonus, feel free to opine on whether I should get rid of all my college undergrad science textbooks (chem, o-chem, physics, biology, calc, etc. I have multiple books of a lot of subjects from taking multiple levels of the classes). I'd throw them on bookshelves inside (they're in the garage now) but I already have 1,000+ books overflowing the book cases that I have.
I'll admit that I have a hard time getting rid of stuff, especially if there's a shred of sentimentality attached. However, I've been pushing myself to do so the last few weeks. Getting rid of some old dog stuff from our pup that passed just after Xmas was tough
