    Rowing question

    by charli55 » Fri Oct 17, 2025 8:27 am

I have been offered a second hand concept rower.

I know this is recommended for warm up prior to lifting.

Would it also be a good option for some conditioning instead of a prowler. Such as some short sprint intervals?

    Thanks

I’ve used rowing machines as conditioning between lifting days, and they’ve worked great without messing with my recovery. I just make sure to keep it moderate—something like 4-5 intervals of 30 seconds on, 90 seconds off. It spikes the heart rate without frying my legs. Plus, it’s easier on the joints than running, so I can hit squats hard the next day without feeling worn down.
