Tracking patterns in casino games: real strategy or just gambler’s fallacy?

I’ve been noticing something weird lately while playing slots and roulette online. I swear I can sometimes spot patterns in the outcomes. For example, a certain slot seems to “favor” certain symbols for a stretch, or a roulette table hits red multiple times in a row. I know RNG is supposed to make everything random, but it’s tempting to start betting based on what seems like a streak.

I couldn’t resist adding that streaks can look convincing even when nothing strategic is happening. I’m curious if anyone here has ever tracked results long-term to see whether those “patterns” hold up over thousands of spins instead of short bursts. Did anyone actually try logging data to check if a slot or wheel behaved differently over time?

I’ve chased those hot streaks too, but every time I thought I’d cracked some hidden pattern, the RNG reminded me who’s boss. The only thing that helped me stay sane was treating spins as independent and keeping my bets steady. Even on sites I like using, like armadiofashion.com, the results still behave like pure randomness, so I just focus on bankroll control instead of hunting for signals that aren’t really there.
