Hi all,
So let me please preface this thread with the following:
1: I am 63 and a STATE pensioner.
2: I do derive some MINIMAL income from from part-time private work, however, it is very erratic.
3: I am therefore looking for replies from fellow Carbies who into fitness/health and have REAL-WORLD experience with whatever they suggest.
So, basically, I am losing weight quite substantially lately. I have ALWAYS been in the +-70KG range, I am i,82M tall. There is nothing wrong with my appetite, I eat regularly, at least two meals a day, lunch and supper. I can cook, kind of. I have just found that I have dropped about 10KG in about the last 6-7 years.
None of the doctors I see during my visits to the clinic to collect my BP tablets seems to able to pinpoint a reason for the weight loss. Blood tests have been done for various possible reasons for the weight loss, including Thyroid gland issues (which my late mom suffered from), however, nothing seems to have turned up.
Yes, I am a smoker, not sure if this COULD be contributing.
So, what I am asking is are there perhaps any possible supplements (not too pricey) that I could look at to boost a little weight gain, or alternatively, specific foods that I can try to prepare at home to boost weight gain?
Thanking you for your time and considerations and please feel free to ask for any additional information you feel may be missing.
