What’s the smartest way to share files securely?

I often need to send large, confidential files to clients, but email attachments feel unsafe and cloud links sometimes get compromised. What modern solutions do you recommend for sharing sensitive data without putting it at risk?

I used to rely on email attachments too, until a client flagged that one of our files had been intercepted. That was the wake-up call I needed. Since then, I’ve shifted to platforms that use end-to-end encryption and give access controls, so only the right people can open files. It’s been a huge relief, both for me and for clients who appreciate the extra layer of security. Plus, mobile access makes it easy to manage on the go. For anyone navigating this same issue, I’d suggest taking a look at https://tech4blog.com/. It’s full of insights on secure file sharing and how modern tools are helping organizations avoid the risks of outdated communication.

Google Drive and Drop Box work well. Many Enterprise companies use these for large file transfers.

I usually go with encrypted file transfer services like Tresorit or Sync, end to end encryption and password protection give me peace of mind. If it’s really sensitive, I’ll zip it with a strong password and share the password through a different channel (text/phone). Much safer than plain email.
