I've heard of people who offer rewards such as flying out and meeting backers in person, doing a presentation, whatever. Seriously? I mean...obviously the reward has to be a big backing (in the $thousands), but how do they accommodate for airfare? Is that separate from the reward? Can we do that?

The ones that I have seen have calculated the cost of air fare into the reward and offer it at an upper tier, or say that the backer must pay air fare but they are invited to an event.
