- this is a sidebar but I was wondering if you could tell me a little more about the landing page you set up as I am interested in doing the same thing.

Just go to http://launchrock.co/ open an account. Then you can choose among a few themes and add text to the landing page. If you have a domain name you can link it there too. Then they provide the mechanism to collect emails from interested people. It's fairly quick to setup, although you'll probably have to try a few combinations until you are happy.
