I'm hoping that by promoting my videos and pictures on my Facebook page along with my pitch deck presentation which is attached to my Kickstarter campaign I will have the initial momentum while I pursue other avenues of promoting my campaign and raising funds. I really believe in this project and the key is getting this idea in front of the right audience.

Connect through social media, email and word of mouth, and launch with your supporters and backers ready to fund, spread the word and take you through!

In the event of a bad start...
If we correct the situation via a convincing project update, how can we make up for it?
All those who had registered on kickstarter while waiting for the launch are lost ??? Is there a way to reactivate an alert with them???

Definitely get people to click the "Notify me on launch" button during pre-launch.

When I launched my first campaign for the first time, I had a lot of people telling me, "Oh yeah, I'm so excited to back this." But they didn't click the button. And despite tons of communication and follow-up, many of them still forgot about it or told me after we failed to fun, "Oh, hey, did you ever run that campaign?"

Trying to rectify that as I prep for the re-launch.

Tip 1- Focus all of your attention on hitting your funding goal early. Then you can relax for the rest of the campaign.
Tip 2- Make sure to establish stretch goals in order to keep up momentum of the project even after the funding goal is met.
Tip 3- Plan out your pre-launch and take that time to build a strong email list.

I failed my first project but am planning on relaunching. I am working on a poetry book called Red Robins Sing in the Winter. It spans across the four seasons and carries the overarching theme of perseverance.
