Trying to figure out if splurging on an OCT machine is actually worth it in 2026, or if I’ll just be drowning in debt for fancier tech my patients barely notice. I'm mid-30s, running a small practice, so dropping that kinda cash isn’t a decision I can take lightly. I want to make sure my patients get the best care, but also not end up eating ramen for the next five years. Anyone here been in my shoes? Did springing for OCT really improve outcomes or was it more hype than help? My brain’s spinning so any advice or stories would help big time.
