I’m an indie filmmaker currently crowdfunding a short film called Ricardo, and I wanted to share it here with people who genuinely love film and storytelling.
Ricardo explores ethnic ambiguity, identity, and what it means to step out of “safe space” and into brave space—especially within the entertainment industry. It’s a personal story for me, rooted in lived experience, and designed to spark honest conversations rather than easy answers.
We’re in the middle of our Kickstarter campaign right now, and every pledge—big or small—helps us bring this story to life. If you’re unable to donate, simply checking out the page or sharing it with someone who might connect with the project means just as much.
Here’s the Kickstarter link:
Happy to answer any questions about the project, the process, or indie filmmaking in general. Thanks for taking the time to read and for supporting independent cinema
