I am thinking of creating some kind of referral program for my project. Can someone help me in anyway?

PM me if nessary.

This post has been moved to the Kickstarter and Crowdfunding Questions Only section.

Hey Alec,

I thought of implementing something similar during our campaign. The concern I would have is the same concern for the whole fake Likes problem on Facebook and social media marketing. You might be motivating the wrong people to be champions of your project. I have not seen this done for any campaign before, but I would be curious to see it used. What do you currently have in mind?

Hi Tom,

My Facebook and Twitter did get some amount of likes and retweets. But it does not drive any pledge. Is it because of perks pricing or the picture look bad or some other reasons? I don't know...

Now I really feel stressed.

Aside from what my team is doing on our site, we plan on simply tracking through backers they refer.

If they back us and stay with us to the end, we can verify that and then reward perks.

One is doing it this way!

That's pretty spectacular. I would love to hear about the results of that effort when the campaign is over. I really enjoyed watching and reading through that campaign. Those folks did a great job

They did a fantastic job on campaign design. I wish I could have enough resources to create my campaign.

We are launching tonight and are incorporating some sort of referral/reward mechanism in our campaign.
I wonder if it will work, but we think it is worth a try.

I created this leaderboard / referral program using a combo of 3rd party services. Detailed write up here: http://www.therooststand.com/pages/hacking-a-kickstarter-referral-affiliate-program-with-google-analytics-zapier-formstack-leftronic

Leaderboard is currently live here: http://roo.st/leaderboard
