Is there a reason people use Indiegogo?

There are several alternatives. I was just wondering why you personally use Indiegogo?

It was the next thing to Kickstarter! Since we are out here in Canada it was are best option. I have some friends who did well with it so I thought to get it a try as well.

I'm from Bulgaria and kickstarter isnt allowed here plus indiegogo has flexible funding and its most popular after kickstarter

We use Indiegogo for its payment options, ease of interface and flexible funding.

i used indiegogo because you can post in spanish but really i prefer kickstarter

I found the flexible funding enticing, in addition to the fact that you don't need to hook up a business account.

I chose indiegogo because of the flexible funding option. I feel that my campaigns can make use of the funds I receive even if I am unable to reach the targeted goals.

I would use indiegogo because of the flexible funding option. If I was completing something where I didn't need that option, however, then I would use kickstarter.

Like many people have mentioned, Flexible Funding can be a real incentive, under the right circumstances.
