Hi guys,

It's the final 11 hours of my crowdfunding campaign - and it's really amazing how many backers are coming in now to do their last-minute pledges?

Anybody has had the same experience?

Anyway, if you're interested in backing and supporting - we're the World's First Massage Hoodie that allows you to enjoy a massage anywhere and anytime you want.

Wow!!! Congrats on blowing past your goal and raising over six figures :). Yes, usually creators see a rush of pledges at the end of the campaign.

In the past I have definitely noticed that most donations come around the beginning and around the end. I've worked on five Kickstarters, I'm currently working through my sixth (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/14 ... -to-write/) and I've come to think of a Kickstarter campaign as something like as suspension bridge. It's up high at the beginning and up high at the end but there's always a noticeable dip in the middle. It's definitely important to try to keep yourself sane and to not let the dip really get to you. That's not to say you shouldn't always be promoting your campaign and searching for donations, of course.

Congratulations! I hope my girlfriend won't find your hoodie or she'll use it instead of asking me for a massage ;)

The dip in the middle of the campaign is definitely real and very scary. You will just have to accept that it will happen. And on the bright side just think it means you got most people excited fast.

Wow this is great, wish I would've clicked the link earlier. Let me know if you do a KS for another project!

Crowdfunding campaigns usually looks like an inverse bell curve. There's a ton of hype at the beginning (from your work during pre-launch) and then much less hype in the middle and then more hype towards the end (campaign end urgency drives people to pledge).

The best way to capitalize on the end urgency is to:
- tell people (via email) that your campaign is ending. Do this multiple times in the last week and multiple times during the last day.
- send remarketing ads and prospecting ads to tell people that they won't find this deal anywhere else after the project ends.
- announce to followers on social media channels that it's almost the end. A daily countdown during the last week and hourly countdowns during the last day will help. You never know when someone will be on social media.
