Has anyone used Thunderclap?

In one of CrowdCrux's articles, I came across the site Thunderclap, which acts as a means to build up hype for a crowdfunding project, etc.

https://www.thunderclap.it/

I'm not sure if this is a great explanation for it, but people and businesses can utilize it to get people to sign up to spread the word on social media when you want the message to go out - whether it's when the project is launched, mid-way, the last day, and so on.

If you have used it, what do you think about it? How easy was it to get people to sign on? If you were able to launch your Thunderclap (the free plan makes it so that you have to reach your number of supporter goal first), how effective was it in helping your campaign?

And most importantly, do you have any tips for how creators can utilize this tool?

I've had many people use this. It's not a silver bullet, but it is definitely one effective tool people have used to drive traffic.
