Traffic on Kickstarter

Hey all - I'm new to the whole Kickstarter campaign and I've been working relatively hard on trying to get any notice or reach. How do you get traffic through Kickstarter? All mine has been Facebook or face-to-face interaction with people.

I've been trying to find sites to help post on blogs and such but everyone just asks me for money to "help" me do PR.

I'm writing a novel as a part of a mental health initiative for awareness and advocation.

Thanks for any input or visits to my Kickstarter.

Sincerely,
Ryan T. Nolan

I think you get traffic on Kickstarter:
- By building a following
- Having something that interests people
- Have the right connections
- Targeting the right influencers to write about you

Regarding "help", unfortunately no one is going to help you for free...why would they? If you're offering them something back in exchange or can provide value to their site/blog/life/anything else then I think you'd get something back.

Best of luck.

Lots of good information in there! Will need to go back & read carefully.

We have a company website, & so far we have been only B2B, but are entering the world of B2C with our Kickstarter project. Having to learn how to interact more with consumers via our website, FB, Twitter etc. At present our website is not attracting lots of visitors, so we are looking for ways to draw people to our new landing page, which will feature the product that will be in our Kickstarter.
